MKAM Launch Better Riding Course

Mar 07, 2016

Better Riding Course 2016.

Commencing Thursday 31st March a Better Riding Course will commence. This is the theory behind advanced/defensive riding and will be held at Milton Keynes Police Station for 5 consecutive weeks on Thursday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm each week.

The course is presented by Rod Hardie, ex Police motorcyclist and MKAM Observer and Bob Woods ex Police Motorcyclist, current instructor with the Thames Valley Police Driving School and IAM examiner. This course is for all motorcyclists, particularly helpful for those preparing for their advanced test.

The course is classroom based in the evenings with two opportunity to get the bikes out - on Saturday 16th April there is a ‘machine control day’ held locally and on Sunday 10th May there is an opportunity to attend Milton Keynes Police Station and be accompanied by a serving ‘Traffic’ Police Officer for an assessment ride.

This course if free for members of MKAM.
