IMI National Observer Pass
Welcome and thank you for showing an interest in Milton Keynes Advanced Motorcyclists (MKAM).
We are a group of motorcyclists who enjoy motorcycling and are keen to pass our knowledge and experience on to other people with many hints and tips which will help you become a safer and more confident rider who is much more aware of the dangers and pitfalls there are out there. By joining us we aim to improve your riding skills with a group of likeminded riders who enjoy the freedom and companionship that comes from motorcycling.
We meet on the 1st Sunday of the month for the "Guidance Session" at Great Holm Fire Station, Haddon, Great Holm, Milton Keynes, MK8 9HP. Your first session will involve a meeting with one of our senior observers who will brief you on what to expect from MKAM bike section. You will then be allocated an observer who will brief you on the ride to a common destination, approx. 50 miles each way. You will be guided to the destination with a couple of stops along the way to discuss the ride.
You can either join the Advanced Rider Course through IAM RoadSmart website and they get in touch with us or you can contact Barbara at email@example.com and come along on the First Sunday and start.
If you are unsure where the Advanced Rider Course is for you please come along for a free taster session before joining up, we are confident once you have made this step and see what the advantages are you will join.
Once you have joined IAM RoadSmart and attended a few Guidance sessions you will be allocated an observer for 1 to 1 sessions to get you polished to test standard.
